This Cookie Notice explains how IT Designer Pty Ltd ('we', 'us', or 'our') uses cookies and similar technologies when you visit our website at intromap.app or use IntroMap (the 'Services'). It should be read together with our Privacy Policy, which explains how we handle your personal information.
What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files that are placed on your device when you visit a website. They are widely used to make websites work, or work more efficiently, as well as to provide reporting information. We also use similar technologies such as local storage, web beacons, and pixels; in this notice we refer to all of these as 'cookies'.
Why we use cookies
We use cookies for the following purposes:
- Strictly necessary. These are essential for the Services to function and cannot be switched off. They include cookies that keep you signed in (our authentication and session cookies), protect the security of your account and admin access, and support the human-verification check on our sign-in and sign-up forms (Cloudflare Turnstile).
- Preferences. These remember choices you make so we can tailor the experience - for example, remembering your last map view, panel sizes, and interface settings. These are typically stored locally in your browser.
- Analytics. These help us understand how the Services are used so we can improve them, by collecting aggregated, mostly anonymous information such as which pages are visited and general performance metrics. We use privacy-friendly analytics (Vercel Web Analytics and Speed Insights).
Third-party cookies
Some cookies are set by third parties that provide services to us:
- Cloudflare Turnstile - bot/abuse protection on our authentication forms.
- Stripe - payment processing and fraud prevention when you subscribe. See Stripe's privacy notice.
Consent
The strictly necessary cookies above are required for the Services to function and, under laws such as the EU/UK ePrivacy rules, do not require your consent. Our analytics is privacy-friendly and cookieless, and we do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies, so we do not display a cookie-consent banner. You remain in control and can block or clear cookies at any time using your browser settings (see below). If we introduce any non-essential cookies in future, we will ask for your consent first.
How to control cookies
Most web browsers are set to accept cookies by default. If you prefer, you can usually set your browser to remove or reject cookies, and clear locally stored data. Please note that if you remove or reject strictly necessary cookies, some parts of the Services - such as staying signed in - may not work properly.

Do-Not-Track
There is currently no uniform technology standard for recognising and implementing Do-Not-Track (DNT) signals. As such, we do not currently respond to DNT browser signals. If a standard is adopted that we must follow in the future, we will update this notice.
